GDC 2017 is happening this week in San Francisco, and Chris Charla (the director of the ID@Xbox program at Microsoft) posted an item at http://news.xbox.com/2017/03/01/xbox-gdc-2017/ that provides details about new features that are coming for Xbox One developers and consumers.
Of particular note for developers is the introduction of the Xbox Live Creators Program. This program will allow developers to access Xbox Live social experiences (sign-in, rich presence, stats, leaderboards, etc) in their Xbox One and Windows titles without requiring concept approval.
